On December 5, Ridy Hudson was born in Tokyo, Japan. Singer and songwriter.
She has been listening and watching various kinds of music and movies since her
All of her favorite songs and movies are American or British, and she was listening
to them all in English. Beatles, the Rolling Stones, "Sound of Music", and Disney
movies, for example. Though she did not know any English word in those days,
she was singing these songs by using her talented imagination and listening skill.
She was influenced a lot by Disney princess, and dreamed to become one of them.
Therefore, when she turned to the age of four, she decided to join classical ballet and
piano classes to make her dream to become a princess come true.
She always had her own special world, and she loved to be, play, sing and act in the
Ridy moved to Dublin, Ireland, when she was eleven years old, due to her father's
business. She went to a local school there and took an enthusiastic music class, which is totally different from Japanese music class. She has been favored English songs for a long time, but after experiencing a different culture, her admiration toward English music became stronger.
After she came back to Japan, she devoted her life to ballet again. She passed an audition held by international male ballet dancer, Tetsuya Kumakawa, and learned ballet at his ballet studio. At that time, music was the only thing which could heal her stress coming from strict ballet lessons. Because of a great healing power of music, she was attracted to music more than before. "No Scrub" by TLC was the very first song she practiced.
After entered to high school, she started to learn English and train music in earnest. She also learned how to play guitar, which is given by her uncle, by herself. "Me" is the first song she wrote in her life.
She participated to INFINITY16's White Cover Album and she sang four songs which were all in English.
